This, in turn, has brought me to my third idea. With four years to go until the centenary I decided to write a book about Shackleton’s Scouts and donate a percentage of the profits to our Kent Scouts Global Projects fund earmarked for the ReQuest2021 expedition to Antarctica. It has taken all of those four years to compile, write and publish.
